This committee is responsible for planning any social events in the Parish. From time to time during the year we have special dinners, dances, etc. On the third Sunday of each month, we have hospitality, with coffee and donuts, after the Sunday Masses, and each year in the Fall we have an annual picnic for all the families held at Fort Mott Park. The purpose of the Bereavement Ministry is to care for the bereaved at the death of a family member, to conduct follow up visits or phone calls during the time of grieving. This ministry may assist the family with the preparation of the funeral liturgy and other needs at the time of death. There are several training sessions and on-going enrichment programs. One needs to be sensitive to others and a good listener. Support sessions, for the bereaved, are also held throughout the year. Contact Sister Marie at the Parish Office for more information.
